Juvenile Justice Center
Secure Crisis Residential Center
The Juvenile Center operates a Secure Crisis Residential Center (S-CRC). This program, sited in the detention facility, provides short-term housing for runaways for up to five days. S-CRC staff offer crisis intervention services while attempting to reunite runaways with their parents. The S-CRC unit is separated from the detention population to prevent any contact between runaways and offenders.
