Juvenile Probation Counselor - Chelan County Juvenile Court
The Chelan County Juvenile Court currently has one opening for a full-time juvenile probation counselor. Basic duties include assisting youth, families, and the court during adjudication and disposition of juvenile offender cases, brokering treatment services, and supervising youth on probation. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a bachelor’s degree, and possess excellent communication skills. Education or experience in criminal justice, adolescent development, substance abuse, or related fields a plus, as is bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency. Bilingual Therapist- Functional Family Therapy (FFT) - Chelan County Juvenile Court
The Chelan County Juvenile Court currently has one opening for a full-time therapist. Minimum requirements: BS or BA (preferably in counseling, social work, psychology, or related fields). Master’s degree preferred. Senior Planner - Chelan County Community Development
Summary: Serves as a senior level professional planner, reporting directly to the Planning Supervisor. Implements the mission of the Department in order to assure orderly growth of the County and coordination of planning efforts in Urban Growth Areas. Undertakes and coordinate professional planning services for a broad range of planning activities involving: long range comprehensive planning, drafting of development regulations, processing of discretionary and ministerial development applications, collection and analysis of geographic/socioeconomic data, and providing public information about County planning policies, regulations and activities. This is the most advanced non-supervisory professional planner position within the department. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in planning or closely related field required, Master’s degree in planning or closely related field preferred. Juvenile Detention Part-Time Relief Worker
Chelan County Juvenile Center is looking for a Part-Time Relief Worker. This is an on-call, hourly position that averages 20 hours per week. Duties include providing for the care, safety, and security of incarcerated juveniles. Observing and documenting youths daily behavior, as well as attending to the physical and emotional needs of youth; monitoring free time; supervise and control youth; provide security for your, staff, and the facility; perform searches; room checks, and head counts; perform janitorial duties; complete meal preparation, kitchen duties, and serve meals.
