Welcome to Your Chelan County Regional Justice Center
Director - Phil Stanley
The Chelan County Regional Jail is an adult correctional facility, located in the city of Wenatchee, that serves a population of over 94,000 people and a geographic area of over 5000 square miles. It is the only "Regional" jail facility in the State, and serves three partners: Chelan County, Douglas County and the City of Wenatchee. This partnership has resulted in lower cost per prisoner day for the partners than any other facility in the Pacific Northwest. In July, 2005, the regional jail opened a 66 bed minimum custody direct supervision dormitory to house inmate work crews and work release inmates, thus freeing up 66 beds in the main facility.
The Chelan County Regional Justice Center Opens the New Annex "Phase Two" 60 Bed Facility
This is a new 60 bed direct supervision facility designed to house minimum custody work release and inmate workers. This project was accomplished with the use of 1.2 million in Federal Voitus
Grant dollars and additional contributions from the three Regional Justice Center Partners; Chelan County, Douglas County and the City of Wenatchee. Each of the partners contributed about $200,000. This new facility will reduce crowding in the main facility and also allow more inmates to be on work release or participate in the inmate worker program. This new secure area will provide better security and safety for the public, jail staff, arresting officers and inmates.

Mission Statement
