“The grounds are quiet, restful, and not dependent on formal floral displays… Breathtaking views of the Columbia River Valley below can be seen through cedar and fir trees, now more than 70 years old… It is a photographer’s paradise.”

As a friend of the society you can help preserve the ‘Ohme Gardens’ experience for yourself and others for years to come. The Friends’ Society works to provide funding for major maintenance, capitol expenditures, and planting restoration.

As a Friend you can choose to volunteer for events or to volunteer with Garden maintenance, or both!

As a Friend you can take part in the spring and fall planting festival, be honored at the annual meeting and receive a free memento of Ohme Gardens.

As a Friend you will have a voice in the Garden’s Master Plan.

Our Friends Society is looking to grow this season! Would you like to take a more active role in helping Ohme Gardens?  There is so much to do to sustain this beautiful, valley treasure. Do you know of others who would be interested in helping promote and sustain Ohme Gardens? The Friends play an important role in helping the Gardens with events as well as fund-raising.

Fourth of July Raffle: Raffle tickets were sold for $5.00 each by the Ohme Gardens Friends' Society for an exclusive night for ten people to watch the 4th of July Fireworks display over the Columbia River from a spectacular viewpoint at Ohme Gardens. The prize package included dinner and refreshments served at Totem Pole Lodge. This was a fundraiser to help support projects at Ohme Gardens.

Safety Lighting Project: Funds raised from the Fourth of July Raffle, as well as a grant from the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, helped finance the Safety Lighting Project.
