In 2011, Chelan County Public Works joined the Municipal Research and Services Center of Washington (MRSC) Consultant and Small Works Roster. MRSC hosts the small public works roster and consultant roster, provides for the biannual legal notice of these rosters and certification of business eligibility, all of which streamlines this process for Chelan County. Current Request for Proposals/Qualifications

Dryden Transfer Station: Second Tipping Floor: Chelan County Department of Public Works seeks an engineering team to design site layout and construction blue prints and bidding documents for the construction of a second tipping floor at its Dryden Transfer Station. The project shall include a 50-foot long tipping area where the public can safely unload garbage into a transfer truck trailer. The submitted Request for Proposals should demonstrate the team has experience with current and local design/build practices and possess the education, training and credentials associated with the type of work described.

Written Requests for Proposals are due by 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6, 2017.  Requests for Proposals may be mailed or dropped off in person.  Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Dryden Transfer Station: Chelan County Metal & Vehicle Removal & Recycling: Chelan County is requesting proposals for removal and recycling of metal and vehicles from the Dryden Transfer Station. The Agreement will be for a three-year term commencing in October 2017, with a possible one-year extension.

Written responses to this Request for Proposals must be received by Chelan County Public Works, 316 Washington St., Suite 402, Wenatchee, WA, 98801, no later than 4 pm, Oct. 12, 2017. Each party shall submit one copy that must be clearly marked “Request for Proposal: Chelan County Metal and Vehicle Removal and Recycling.” Chelan County reserves the right to reject any or all responses and/or waive any formality or technicality in any response in the interest of the Owner.

Licensed contractors may apply directly to Chelan County Public Work's Small Works Roster for contracts of $300,000 or less by completing the application and returning it to the Chelan County Public Works' office.
