Construction ProjectsCRP 641, West Monitor Bridge Rehabilitation Project Description: The West Monitor Bridge project will rehabilitate an existing one-lane Pratt truss bridge over the Wenatchee River. Rehabilitation of the existing bridge will include replacement of the deck system, painting, and the replacement and addition of select steel members to increase the bridge’s strength. Bridge roadway approaches may be improved to accommodate a new decking height. The bridge and associated components may be moved to an offsite location for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation should increase the bridge’s loading capacity to an H15 truck load. Once completed, the bridge will have a roadway section that is consistent with the existing width of a single, 16-foot lane. The West Monitor Bridge appearance will remain generally the same as seen today.
