We, the management of the Chelan County Sheriff's Office, pledge to do our best in the management of this organization. We recognize that the men and women of this organization are its future. It is our strong belief that the members of this office and its auxiliaries have the talents and expertise to take this Sheriff's Office forward for the betterment of Chelan County. Our mission is to work in partnership with the community to enhance the quality of life for the people in Chelan County through efficient and effective service by prevention, intervention, and enforcement.

"Chief for a Day"

The Chelan County Sheriff for today is Greg Worley. Greg is 5 years old and lives in Monitor with his parents, Darrel and Shelley and his 7 year old sister, Elizabeth. Greg and the family live on the original property that his dad grew up on. And they have three acres of pears and three acres of horses. Greg’s horse is a quarter horse named “Toby”. Greg also has three dogs named Bob, Henry and Boomer. Greg is a student at Appleseed pre-school. His teacher is Mrs. Becky Ruether.

He was excited about being the Chelan County Sheriff for a day and wants everyone to know that the first thing he will do is to order his deputies to make all of the bad guys clean the jail.

Mandatory Boating Education Class

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol Unit is sponsoring a FREE Mandatory Boating Education Class on December 5, 2009 from 8 AM - 4 PM at Reed's Marine in Manson, WA. If you are interested in attending see the attached flyer for more information.
