The Chelan County IT Department supports a wide range of technology services for Chelan County employees, departments and Chelan County citizens.
Application Hosting
The Application Hosting service provides County departments with delivery and back-end management of Windows or mainframe application-hosting environments.
Application Hosting services include:

In addition, IT provides the technical support required to maintain a current, secure, and reliable dedicated hosting environment.
Business Services
IT Business Services provides end-to-end lifecycle support for County business applications including:

Geographic Information Systems
Process Control
Productivity Tools
Recreation Management
Website Management
Business application support activities include the development of new applications, enhancements to existing applications, and support and maintenance of both County-developed software and purchased software.
Data Center Hosting
The IT Department provides County departments with a 24-7, environmentally-controlled and secured data center to house servers and other IT equipment in a secure location. Data Center Hosting also includes Facilities Management and Network Connectivity services.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The Information Technology Department manages the hardware, software, data, maps, and interactive applications that encompass the Geographic Information Systems Management Office (GISMO). GISMO services support core County business processes such as property valuations, property ownership, development review, land use planning, E911 dispatch, and election precincting, as well as the needs of various outside agencies, and the public.
Distribution of GIS Data, Street Centerline Maintenance, GIS Application Development and Support, Data Conversion and System Maintenance, Map Requests, Special Projects and Analysis, and GIS Training.
