26C02666 Chelan County Deputies arrest suspect on charges of Attempted Residential Burglary 2nd degree and Assault 3rd degree in Chelan

On 4/4/26, at about 7:07pm, a Chelan County Deputy was dispatched to a subject attempting to force entry into an apartment in the 200 block of E. Johnson Ave in Chelan WA. The reporting party did not know the subject but was able to provide a description of the subject.

A deputy arrived in the area and began to investigate at the apartment complex. The apartment complex has an outer door that is normally secured to keep the public out. It appeared the outer door had been left unsecured, which allowed the subject to make entry without anyone’s permission. The deputy located a subject that matched the description given by the reporting party. The subject was attempting to force entry into a different apartment. The deputy, made contact with the subject in order to detain him.

The subject resisted and struck the deputy. The deputy took the subject to the ground and held him there until another deputy arrived and the subject was taken into custody.

The subject was identified as:
Alejandro Morales-Gonzales a 24 year old male from Chelan, WA.

Probable cause was established to arrest Morales-Gonzales for violations of RCW 9A.52.030 Attempted Residential Burglary 2nd degree, RCW 9A.36.031 Assault in the 3rd degree and for RCW 9A.76.040 Resisting Arrest. Morales-Gonzales was booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center.
