Chelan County Surface & Stormwater Utility boundary adjustment UPDATE
To assure compliance with Federal and State stormwater requirements as specified in the Clean Water Act and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Phase II (NPDES II) regulations, the Board of County Commissioners voted to update Chelan County’s Surface and Stormwater Management Utility service area as outlined in the Chelan County Code Chapter 4.10. The vote took place after an advertised public hearing on November 17, 2014. The utility service area update is a result of the 2010 Census data conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. A copy of Resolution 2014-116, amending resolution 2008-06 Surface & Stormwater Management Utility and including a map of the new boundary, is attached.
