The Chelan County Fair Board has openings for eight seats on the active volunteer board. Terms vary from one to three years, with the board meeting monthly for planning and then more regularly once the fair is here.
No applications necessary. Just show up for the board’s next meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Administration Building, 400 Douglas St. in Wenatchee. The board will be voting new members in.
What’s it take to be on the 12-member board?
This is a working board. We need people who enjoy rolling up their sleeves. You could be setting up tents, checking in exhibitors or helping set up and tear down barns. We need creative people who want to contribute to the success of our local fair.
