Old Blewett Pass Highway closed through winter
A section of Old Blewett Pass Highway, from milepost 0.11 to 6.08, is closed. The summer's Labor Mountain Fire left behind a number of hazardous trees along the roadway. The road also leads to closed U.S. Forest Service lands.
Please remember:
- This is Old Blewett Pass Highway -- NOT the state highway.
- The closure also applies to snowmobiles.
- The closure remains in place until spring, when public works will re-evaluate the condition of the roadway. We will also announce when the road reopens.
- This closure is for the Chelan County section of roadway. If you have questions about the Kittitas County section, please contact Kittitas County Public Works.
