Open house planned in Manson to talk transportation

Chelan County Public Works will be in Manson on Aug. 20 to host an open house on the transportation and safety plans underway as well as two Manson transportation projects.

The open house is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Manson Grange, 157 E. Wapato Way. A Spanish interpreter will be available.

Plan to hear a short presentation by our consultant and then to visit staffed tables set up around the grange. Along with the traffic and safety plans, we will share information about the first phase of the Totem Pole Road improvement project, set to start next year, and the Safe Routes to School study, which is just beginning.

Hear project updates, share safety concerns, discuss long-term visioning and bring your questions. And remember to complete our transportation survey before you attend!
