Public safety testing August 13 for jail, fire, law enforcement, RiverCom dispatchers
Chelan County on Aug. 13 will sponsor a Public Safety Testing event for people interested in working in corrections, law enforcement, fire fighting or 911 communications.
Public safety testing consists of both written and physical ability tests; it is typically the first step a public safety agency requires in its hiring process.
To participate, interested candidates must first pre-register at www.publicsafetytesting.com. The website supports public safety agencies around the state in the hiring of police officers, firefighters, corrections officers and 911 dispatchers.

Where: Confluence Technology Center, 285 Technology Center Way No. 102, Wenatchee
When: Check-in begins at 9 a.m. Testing begins at 9:30 a.m. The written test is in the morning and the physical ability test is in the afternoon.
