Winter Reminder: Do Not Park Cars Along the Roadway During the Winter
It's still winter in these parts, and that means county crews are deep into snow plowing season.
Orchard owners and foremen are reminded to ask their pruning crews not to park vehicles in the county right-of-way. Vehicles parked along the roadway hamper snow- and ice-control efforts this time of the year.
It would be best if orchards provide parking areas out of the right-of-way for workers during the winter months so county crews can clear the roads safely and efficiently for the public.
