Notice of Fee Increase Effective July 27, 2025

A $50 surcharge has been added to multiple filing fees at the direction of HB1207, passed by the 2025 legislature.  The filing fees for most new civil actions filed in Superior Court will be increased effective July 27, 2025. This bill amends RCW 36.18.020  https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=36.18.020. All fee-based filings submitted after 5:00pm on Friday, July 25, 2025 will be impacted by this legislation.
