2025 Lodging Tax funding requests are now open; due Oct. 15

Do you have an idea for a festival or community event that will bring visitors to our area? Or maybe you’re a tourist-related business with a great program that needs a little financial support?

The Chelan County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) is calling for projects that may be suitable for financial support via lodging tax dollars.

Chelan County is committed to supporting existing projects and events and developing new initiatives that make an economic difference. Lodging Tax funds generated in unincorporated Chelan County are made available annually for this purpose. Successful grants will be considered utilizing the following criteria:

  1. Increases tourism and convention activity in Chelan County.

  3. The availability of funds. The current funding available for events/promotions is $240,000.
  4. Meets reporting requirements of the State law.
  5. Overall economic impact to Chelan County.
