Chelan County High Fire Danger Areas & Road Restrictions
Resolution 2015-90 amends Resolution 2015-81 Area & County High Fire Danger and Road Restrictions/Closures, lowers all the Level 3 designations.
Level 1 area activity restrictions include:
No fireworks,
No open flame devices,
No motor vehicles off the roadway,
No outdoor fires except for recreational residential campfire burning in a campfire area installed in accordance with the Chelan County Fire Advisory Board.
Level 2 travel restrictions:
Restricted travel on County road; except for residents of the area and travel through the area to open public lands for legitimate purposes (“legitimate purposes” include recreation and hunting).
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office is the agency that enforces these restrictions. Please contact that office if you have any questions regarding enforcement of Level 1 & 2 fire danger restrictions. The meetings of the Canvassing Board are open, public meetings under the applicable provisions of chapter 42.30 RCW, and each meeting shall be continued until the activity for which the meeting is held has been completed.
