Commissioner Gering to hold Sept. 29 community meeting for District 3
The public is invited to a community meeting hosted by Chelan County Commissioner Tiffany Gering. The event is an opportunity for the public to keep up on what's happening in the county, particularly those issues impacting District 3, as well as ask questions of county leaders.
The meeting will be held 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Chelan Fire & Rescue community room, 232 E. Wapato Ave., in Chelan. The agenda is available online.
Joining Gering at the event will be: Sheriff Brian Burnett, County Assessor and interim Community Development Director Deanna Walter, Natural Resources Director Mike Kaputa and Chelan County Engineer/Public Works Director Eric Pierson. There also will be time for those in attendance to ask questions of the county leaders.
Commissioner Gering plans to have three community meetings a year in District 3, with the next one in January 2023.
