Commissioner Overbay to host community meeting
Chelan County Commissioner Kevin Overbay will host a District 1 community meeting on Oct. 11.
The community meeting will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Mission View Elementary School, 60 Terminal Ave. in Wenatchee. Spanish interpreters will be available for the meeting.
Joining Overbay will be several department directors, including those from the Regional Justice Center, Community Development, Natural Resources, Public Works and Economic Development.
Each of the directors will give a brief update on their departments and those issues or projects impacting District 1, which includes most of the Wenatchee area, Wenatchee Heights and Malaga. People are encouraged to ask questions and to share any concerns.
