Sealed bids will be received by Chelan County at the Board of County Commissioner’s Office, 400 Douglas St., suite 201, in Wenatchee, Wash., until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, and then publicly opened and read as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard for:
Construction of three poles buildings, single- and 2-story, sized approximately 5,600 square feet, 6,600 square feet, and 1,848 square feet; and a new 7,905-square-foot, wood-framed, partial two-story building. The project includes a new asphalt drive and parking; landscape and irrigation; utility extensions, concrete walks, footings and slabs; trench drains and oil water separators; casework; fiberglass and rigid insulation; metal siding, roofing, flashing, gutters, and downspouts; hollow frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, aluminum windows, and overhead doors; interior metal stud and drywall walls and ceilings; suspended acoustical ceilings, resilient, carpet, and resinous flooring finishes, and paint; toilet room specialties and signage; window shades; walk-in cooler; HVAC systems; electrical systems, power, communications wiring, alarm systems, lighting, automated vehicle gates, chain link fencing, etc.
Bidding documents, including Instructions to Bidders, Form of Agreement, General Requirements, Drawings and Specifications entitled, “Olds Station Campus,” may be requested from the Architect in PDF format and may also be examined at various construction councils and builder association plan centers, a list of which is available from the office of the architect.

Drawings and Specifications are also available on the Chelan County Commissioners website. Prime bidders, other sub-bidders and suppliers may purchase sets or parts of sets by paying for the cost of reproduction. Bidders who are bidding without procuring plans from the architect are encouraged to provide contact information to the architect for inclusion in the bidder’s list and electronic notifications.
Chelan County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and Title 49 CFR, Subtitle A, Part 21 Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
