Tiffany, who represents District 3, was raised 30 miles north of Lake Chelan in Brewster. Her mother was a registered nurse and her father a teacher. Both parents, who are now retired, were volunteer EMTs for several years and her father was also a reserve police officer. Tiffany says her parents modeled hard work and the importance of volunteering. Growing up, she participated in sports and extracurricular clubs in high school while also maintaining a part-time job. After high school, college was the clear expectation from her family. "There were many reasons I chose Seattle Pacific University, but I truly felt at home when I learned of the small class sizes and the number of students," she says.
After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Business Administration, Tiffany moved to Los Angeles to experience the big city. After many exciting celebrity encounters working in the movie business, she decided that being close to family was her first priority and she moved in 2005 to Chelan. There she worked at KOZI, the local radio station, for over seven years as sales manager. She eventually moved on to work at the Lake Chelan Chamber as its sales manager and Chief Operating Officer.
Tiffany has two young daughters who she describes as the "loves of my life." "They both were nothing short of a miracle," she says. "At birth, my oldest weighed 3 pounds, 2 ounces, and my youngest was just 2 pounds. We spent many months living in Spokane at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I’m happy to report that my NICU graduates are completely healthy and give me a run for my money every day. My family, friends and my community have been ever-present and supportive throughout the whole process for which I am thankful each and every day."
Tiffany's travels include a mission trip to Mexico with her church, chaperoning high school students on a trip to South Korea for the Rotary International Convention and a trip to Kenya with Me to We and Lake Chelan Rotary. She also travels for fun to Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada (of course), Dominican Republic, Dubai and many of our states. "I love traveling!," she says. "It has become slightly more difficult traveling with the littles."
