Board members are residents of Chelan County. The Board consists of five members, two of whom are appointed by the governor, one by the mayors of the cities in the county, one by the Board of Chelan County Commissioners, and one by the Board itself. Members are not allowed to hold other local government elected or appointed positions or jobs. They serve four-year terms.
