Over the last 2 months, the Columbia River Drug Task Force began researching a house in the 1100 block of Rosewood Ave in Wenatchee. Detectives had received reports of suspicious activity that indicated it was likely drugs were being sold from the residence. Neighbors were complaining of constant traffic and unusual activity. The quality of life for the citizens of this neighborhood was directly impacted.
Detectives were able to determine Wylie Peart (28-year-old female), was actively selling drugs from the location. Detectives set up surveillance in the area and observed Peart dealing illegal narcotics (methamphetamine and fentanyl powder) to individuals on multiple occasions. The CRDTF was granted a search warrant to search the residence and arrest Peart on probable cause of two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a drug party. During the search warrant, detectives located evidence of drug sales and located illegal drugs. The case is still on-going and there may be additional arrest/charges forthcoming.
The Columbia River Drug Task Force is dedicated to its mission of disrupting illegal sales of narcotics, especially fentanyl.
