Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison reports, on 9/18/24 at about 4:42 pm, deputies took a report of a suspicious female going through mailboxes in the 3000 block of Number 1 Canyon in Wenatchee, WA.
The suspect was described as a, white female, mid 30’s with brown hair, who was driving a black Toyota Tacoma with temporary registration tags.
The female was witnessed taking mail and packages from citizens’ mailboxes.
The female left the area before deputies arrived, but the temporary registration returned to Annamarie Harden, a 33 year old female from Wenatchee, WA.
Later at about 7:31 pm, another call came in to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office about a suspicious female, who matched the same description, as going to a mailbox in the 3000 block of 10th St SE in East Wenatchee. She was confronted by a citizen and the female advised the citizen her name was, “Annamarie” and that she was an undercover police officer. Deputies responded to that area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Later at about 10:06 PM RiverCom received a phone call from Annamarie Harden who was reporting suspicious circumstances at Joe’s Log Cabin in Wenatchee. Deputies responded to the area and located Annamarie Harden.
Harden was ultimately found to be in possession of multiple pieces of stolen mail.
For crimes committed in Chelan County, Harden was arrested and booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center for 8 counts of the violation of RCW 9A.56.370 possession of stolen mail.
The stolen mail will be returned to the US Post Office to be re-delivered to the victims.
The following locations were targeted by the suspect, if you discover any fraud or missing items please report it to your local Sheriff’s or Police department.

600 block of Sage Hills Dr, Wenatchee
2800-2900 block of Austin Ct, Wenatchee
1800 block of Jefferson Pl, Wenatchee
1000 block of Westview Dr, Wenatchee
900-1000 block of Westmorland Dr, Wenatchee
1900 block of Mulberry Ln, Wenatchee
1900 block of Maple St, Wenatchee
5000 block and up of Rock Island Rd, Rock Island
3600-4200 block of 10st SE, East Wenatchee
700 block of S. Van Well Ave, East Wenatchee
