On April 19, the Chelan County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue assisted a group of hikers on Sauer Mountain Trail after a visitor sustained a serious knee laceration. Later than evening, a deputy navigated challenging nighttime terrain near Colchuck Lake to assist a lost hiking party and guide them safely to safety.
Chelan County Deputies were dispatched to a subject attempting to force entry into an apartment in Chelan. Suspect arrested on charges of attempted residential burglary and assault 3rd degree.
On March 28, 2026, at approximately 9:12 PM, Chelan County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a report of an accidental shooting in the 7500th block of Hwy 2 in Dryden.
