Commissioner Gering to host May 18 community meeting
Chelan County Commissioner Tiffany Gering, who represents District 3, will host a community meeting on May 18 in Chelan. The event will be 5 to 7 p.m. at Chelan City Hall, 135 E. Johnson Ave. Joining her will be the directors of Community Development, Public Works and Natural Resources.

2023 Lodging Tax capital requests open through April 14
The Chelan County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee has opened the annual grant application process for groups and municipalities seeking lodging tax dollars for capital projects, or capital improvement projects, that will help attract overnight visitors to the county. Applications are due by April 14.

Point in Time Count records decrease in homelessness for one-day event
The recent Point in Time Count showed the number of people experiencing homelessness on the one-day event is slightly down from last year; however, the count also shows increase in number of people living in shelters, temporary housing.
