Nason Watershed Roads Decommissioning Project: 

This Contract provides for road obliteration, streamflow isolation and removal of culverts conveying non-fish streams, removal of drainage culverts, and slash cover of road surfaces for 4.34 miles of closed USFS road in the White Pine vicinity of Nason Creek. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and the 2021 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municiple Construction, State of Washington, Department of Transportation, and will comply with Prevailing Wage requirements. 

Work is to be completed by November 6, 2021. Engineer's estimate is $100,000-$150,000.

Pre-Bid Walkthrough Information:  An optional Pre-Bid conference walkthrough with representatives from the CONTRACTING AGENCY will be held on site on Friday June 11th, 2021 at 9:00 A.M.   Attendees should meet at the parking lot adjacent to the Shell Gas Station at Cole's Corner, physical address 15255 US Hwy 2, Leavenworth, WA 98826. From this location the group will proceed to the project access point off of Hwy 2 at the White Pine Road, approximately 6.5 miles west. A minimum of one representative from each Contractor who intends to submit a bid is encouraged to attend. 

Sealed bids will be recieved by Chelan County at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers, Chelan County Administration Building, 400 Douglas Street, Wenatchee Washington until Monday, June 21st at 11:00am for the Chelan County Natural Resources Project "Nason Watershed Roads Decommissioning Project". 

Hard copies of the Project Manual and Bid Package are available upon request and can be picked up from Chelan County Natural Resource Department, located at 411 Washington St, Suite 201, Wenatchee WA 98801. Entiat Stillwaters Irrigation Project:

This Contract provides for design, material and equipment purchase, installation, system testing and startup for two above ground irrigation systems totaling 7.8 acres alongside the Entiat River collectively known as the Entiat Stillwaters.  These two sites have previously had riparian plantings installed.  There is currently no available electric power an no groundwater wells.  The Contracting Agency has secured temporary water rights to divert water out of the Entiat River to be used for irrigation water. The systems shall be installed and operable by July 2nd, 2021.  All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and the 2021 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, State of Washington, Department of Transportation, and addenda thereto.

Work is to be completed by July 2nd, 2021.  Engineers estimate is $40k

Pre-Bid Walkthrough Information:  An optional Pre-Bid conference walkthrough with representatives from the CONTRACTING AGENCY will be held on site on Friday May 14th at 9:00 A.M.   Attendees should meet at Entiat City Park, located on Shearson Street in Entiat, Wa 98822 and proceed to the Project. Potential bidders attending the optional Pre-Bid conference shall anticipate the meeting to be held in an open air, socially distanced environment with all current COVID safety guidelines to be followed.  The project areas are open to independent examination by prospective bidders at any time.

Sealed bids will be received by Chelan County at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers, Chelan County Administration Building, 400 Douglas Street, Wenatchee, Washington until Monday, May 24th, 2021 at 11:00 AM PDT for the Chelan County Natural Resources Project, “Entiat Stillwaters Irrigation Project”.

Monitor Side Channel Restoration Project:

Chelan County Natural Resource Department solicits an Invitation to Bid for the improvement of fish and aquatic habitat in the Monitor Side Channel which flows parallel to the mainstem of the lower Wenatchee River from approximately River Miles 6.1 to 6.7. The work includes, but is not limited to: water management and dewatering; permanent and temporary improvements of access routes; clearing and salvage of trees and shrubs for use in Engineered Log Jam (ELJ) construction; in-water site isolation, control of in-water turbidity; temporary bridge stream crossing; furnishing all necessary materials for and performing construction of ELJ habitat structures; salvage and placement of habitat boulders as identified on the Contract Plans; temporary traffic control as needed to safely deliver, handle, and stage equipment and materials. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and the 2021 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, State of Washington, Department of Transportation, and addenda thereto.

Performance period is July 1-September 30, 2021.  In-water work window is July 15-September 30. Engineers estimate is $250k-$310k.

Pre-Bid Walkthrough Information:  An optional Pre-Bid conference walkthrough with representatives from the CONTRACTING AGENCY will be held on site on Wednesday April 7th at 9:00 A.M.  Potential bidders attending the optional Pre-Bid conference shall anticipate the meeting to be held in an open air, socially distanced environment with all current COVID safety guidelines to be followed.  The project site is located within the Wenatchee River, adjacent to Highway 2/97, approximately a mile west of the intersection of Easy Street and the highway outside of Monitor, Washington and is accessible only via Eastbound lanes of Highway 2/97.  Project Area access and anticipated staging is a WSDOT parking area located ½ mile past milepost 114. The project area is open to independent examination by prospective bidders at any time.

Sealed bids will be received by Chelan County at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers, Chelan County Administration Building, 400 Douglas Street, Wenatchee, Washington until Monday, April 26th, 2021 at 11:00 AM PDT for the Chelan County Natural Resources Project, “MONITOR SIDE CHANNEL RESTORATION”.
