Winter Reminder: It's still winter in these parts, and that means county crews are deep into snow plowing season. Orchard owners and foremen are reminded to ask their crews not to park vehicles in the county right-of-way. Cars parked along the roadway hamper snowplowing efforts.
The National Weather Service is forecasting warmer temperatures and possible rain this week – weather conditions that may lead to the formation of hazardous ice jams and flooding along the county’s rivers and streams.
What will Chelan County's transportation system look like in 20 years? The County invites the public to comment on its transportation needs. Send your comments to public.works@co.chelan.wa.us.
