Join Chelan County Public Works at a community meeting on Sept. 18 to get an update on the progress of the West Cashmere Bridge Replacement Project. The meeting will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cashmere's Riverside Center.
Starting this September and lasting for about four months, Chelan County and municipal governments will be replacing streetlights with high efficiency, light-emitting diode (LED) technology. About 3,700 streetlights are being replaced using a combination of grant funding from the state and Chelan County PUD.
The Washington State Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board has awarded Chelan County $3 million for its West Cashmere Bridge Replacement Project.
